Nancy Pancy is a recurring character in Fanboy and Chum Chum. She is one of Fanboy and Chum Chum' classmates and friends who attends Galaxy Hills Elementry School.

Biography

A sweet, caring yet nerdy girl in Mr. Mufflin's class. Nancy is kind and free-spirited. She's really smart and mature for her age. She's also full of advice when it comes to anything hard or seemingly tough. She has a nasal tone in her voice.

Not much is known about Nancy’s past, however it is shown she along with the rest of her friends are in fifth grade and at their final year of elementary school.

She debuts in the first episode, "Wizboy" making a cameo in the classroom and cafeteria. She would continue to appear in later episodes as being a supportive and high-spirited classmate.

Personality

She appears to act clever and intelligent most of the time such as being good at solving math equations and trying to talk some sense into Chum Chum so he doesn’t make his pecan log so heavy.

She is shown to be quite friendly and kind-hearted such as throwing a surprise party for Chum Chum, offering to help others and not holding grudges when mistreated.

However she often would act gullible and ditzy, such as instantly believing Fanboy in Fanbot’s body is intelligent despite him not being able to answer 2 plus 2 in "I, Fanbot". She also has acted insane and mean-spirited on occasions, such as wanting to attack Fanboy then later Kyle in I, Fanbot and wanting to steal Fanboy and Chum Chum’s prize cup in "The Winners".

She also tends to be quite cheerful and free-spirited by enjoying toys, playing on the playground, enjoying magic shows, playing with her friends, dancing to music, etc.

She is also quite mature as she takes her job running the charity bake sales seriously ("Fanboy Stinks"), learns from her mistakes ("Precious Pig"), stays calm when her plans are changed ("Cold War"), doesn’t hold grudges for too long ("Prank Day"), studies before class starts ("The Janitor Strikes Back") and calmly corrects others ("Fanboy Stinks").

Despite her maturity, she has a mischievous streak and often joins in with the characters antics as shown in "I, Fanbot", "Berry Sick", "Chimp Chomp Chumps", "Norse-ing Around", "Prank Master", "Saving Private Chum Chum", "Kids in the Hall", "The Winners", "Speed Eraser" and "Microphonies"

She has a deep love towards animals. Whenever she sees or thinks someone committed animal abuse, she instantly stands up for the animal that was the victim. Also she tends to blow raspberries and shun people who commit that act.

She has quite a girly side as she got excited when seeing glitter in "Face-Eating Aliens From Planet X" and is seen playing with a doll in "Saving Private Chum Chum".

She often tends to silently get annoyed at Kyle due to his snarky attitude.

She has high empathy for others. In "Separation Anxiety" she gets upset when Hank yells at the duo , moves Fanboy’s desk, drags Fanboy on the ground, kicks Kyle out of his seat and Duke giving wet willies to Fanboy.

She can be stubborn at times. In "Precious Pig" she refuses to believe Fanboy, thinking that he was intentionally trying to harm Precious.

She's also quite a quiet student as she often doesn’t speak as much as some of her peers. She is also slightly shy at times such giving a nervous look when she sees Fanboy and Chum Chum’s girl disguises ("Face-Eating Aliens From Planet X") or preferring not meddle in when Hank punishes the duo ("Separation Anxiety").

Physical Appearance

Usual

Nancy has a pill shape body with pale-apricot skin. She has shoulder-length golden brown. She has a large rectangular head with a round top, round large eyes with three eyelashes on them, she has an elongated head, a pinkish-reddish nose, pink lips and freckles. She has skinny limbs. She has small pointed, rectangular round ears that stick out horizontally from the sides of her head. Nancy appears to be the same height as Yo and Michael.

Attire

She wears large round black glasses and ladybug earrings. She has a small pink butterfly clip in the back of her hair. She wears a ghost white short sleeved white T-shirt with pale blue and tea green stripes, ball blue shorts with sky magenta colored hearts, white sneakers with pink and blue trim and medium ruby socks. She has a raspberry pink collar on the top of her shirt and her sleeves have raspberry pink trims.

Pirate

As a pirate, Nancy wears a newspaper hat along with gold earrings. She also wears a belt square silver buckle around her waist.

Relationships

Fanboy

Fanboy and Nancy are shown to friends despite rarely interacting with each other.

Despite their differences such as Nancy’s quiet, gentle nature and her valuing intelligence, study and maturity and Fanboy's loud, hyperactive nature and him causing chaos, she doesn’t mind his goofy, energetic demeanor and tries not hurt his feelings when he does something weird as shown in "Lord of the Rings".

However in "Precious Pig" after she and friends mistake him for trying to bash Precious on head, she shuns him and doesn’t try to listen to him, though at the end when she and her friends see what Fanboy was trying to tell her and the others, she forgives him and is amazed how he taught Precious karate.

Chum Chum

She is shown to be very nice to him. In "Fanboy Stinks" when she hosted one of the school's Charity Bake Sales, she gave Chum Chum calm and polite advice by asking him not to make his pecan log from last year due to it getting stuck in ground. Even after Chum Chum decides to make the pecan log, he tries to make it less heavy.

She tries not to hurt his feelings by applauding by his and Fanboy’s simple magic tricks.

Nancy also finds his sweetness to be charming as shown in "Present Not Accounted For" and "A Very Brrr-y Icemas"

Kyle

Though despite her never verbally interacting with him and both being mature and sensible, the two have differences. She is shown to be much nicer and more patient than him as she dislikes his snarky and rude attitude towards Fanboy & Chum Chum as shown in "Lord of The Rings".

She also acts much more free-spirited and cheerful than him. She tries to playfully dance with him by twisting his arm in "Kids in the Halls" and playing tag with him in "Excuse Me" much to his stress.

Yo

They’re shown to be close friends as they are often hanging out and talking to each other in most episodes.

Cher Leader

They get along great together and often are seen with each other chatting.

Cheech

She hangs out with him a lot and considers him to be her best friend as she chooses him as her buddy for the field trip to the dinosaur museum in "Buddy Up".

Michael Johnson

She and Michael are shown to friendly towards each other. In "Prank Day" after she opens Michael’s fake jelly beans can, at first she gets frightened but later finds the joke to be funny.

Oz Harmounian

She seems to like him or at least tolerate him due standing next to him in "Sigmund the Sorcerer" and "A Very Brrr-y Icemas". She also comes to his store in "HypnotOZed" and is happy when she thinks he’s finally selling his toys.

Boog Shlizetti

Nancy, like the other children, does not appear to like Boog because of inflicting bops on others. In "Chimp Chomp Chumps" She is indifferent towards him due him annoying Fanboy and Chum Chum, and later in the episode, she and the other students laugh at Boog.

Nancy is a commonly used character who has a couple major/speaking roles as well as many cameo roles. She makes her biggest role yet in the episode "Fanboy Stinks".

"Wizboy"

She is first seen in the classroom appearing to be uninterested in Kyle’s entrance and playing with her pencil. She later appears in the cafeteria eating lunch when Fanboy and Chum Chum walk over to Kyle.

"Pick a Nose"

She is seen at the school. She is first seen in Fanboy's imagination appearing stunned with the duo's switch noses. When Fanboy gets covered in snot, she gets gross out and moves away. She is one of the students entertained by Chum Chum’s magic tricks with Fanboy’s nose and listened to his music on the flute. Lastly she appears in the class photo being grossed out by how bad Fanboy and Chum Chum smell.

"The Janitor Strikes Back"

She is seen at the beginning of the episode walking with Cher Leader and taking to her into class. When Russ Poopatine mentioned his last name, she and the rest students laughed at the name. Lastly she stands in the corner when the gum alarm goes off again.

"Trading Day"

She is one of the students who got a Mechatech toy. When Fanboy and Chum Chum are near the slide, she is seen walking by. She is later seen with her toy Mechatech jumping rope and her toy tying her up with the jump rope.

"Fanboy Stinks"

Her biggest role yet. She is first seen in the cafeteria with Lupe and Michael getting gross out by Fanboy’s odor. She also appears to in charge of the Bake Sale and tries to tell Chum Chum not to make his pecan log due to it getting stuck in the floor without hurting his feelings. Lastly, she eats sweets with Yo, Duke and Kyle.

"I, Fanbot"

She appears in the classroom getting excited about the bounce house and gets angry at Fanboy’s record of failing each test. She also appears in the cafeteria, where she and rest of her friends (except Kyle) believed Fanboy as a robot became smarter despite not being able to answer 2 plus 2. Lastly, when her class failed the test, she and the rest of the students (except Chum Chum) tried to beat up Fanboy.

"Berry Sick"

She appears at the end of the episode as a zombie trying to attack Fanboy and Chum Chum.

"Chimp Chomp Chumps"

She appears in line waiting for "The Chimp Chomp Movie" while standing next to Chum Chum and Cher. She also laughs at Boog after he says embarrassing things about himself along with the rest of the class. She is then seen playing dodgeball. She is lastly seen cheerfully running out of the theater.

"Precious Pig"

Her second biggest role. She is first seen in the classroom witnessing Precious digging through her and Cheech's desks. She also appears in the Fanlair, where she along with her Chum Chum, Hank, Lupe, Cher and Michael get mad at Fanboy after thinking he tried to commit animal abuse by trying to bash Precious on the head. She is then seen in the classroom again shunning Fanboy and doing the "Piggy Dance". She is last seen in the shunning going after Fanboy and later is impressed with Precious' karate skills.

"Fangboy"

She is seen with Yo playing on the swings at the park.

"Fanboyfriend"

She is seen walking down the halls when Fanboy tries to disguise himself as a nerd so Lupe doesn’t notice him.

"Moppy Dearest"

She is first seen in the classroom getting annoyed that the dance attendance is mandatory. She also attends the school dance waiting in line as Fanboy shows Moppy around. She is then seen chatting with Yo and hanging out with Cher. She later gets angry at Fanboy due to interrupting Man-Arctica's performance. She is lastly seen cheering for Fanboy's song about Moppy.

"Norse-ing Around"

She appears with the other classmates trying to get the gold stars.

"The Janitor's Apprentice"

She appears in the cafeteria sitting with Yo and getting startled by the jumpstart.

"Excuse Me"

She first appears playing tag with Lupe, Michael, Cheech, Cher and Kyle. She is later seen in the classroom.

"Night Morning"

She is one of the few classmates invited to come experience Night Morning. She later gets bored and leaves by taking her money back she used to experience Night Morning.

"Marsha, Marsha, Marsha"

She is first seen in a class picture. She later appears in a flashback taking a test with the rest of her class.

"Prank Master"

She appears by trying to open a can but gets pranked by Michael and later laughs along with Michael.

"Little Glop of Horrors"

She is first seen listening to the assembly. She also is shown to dislike the glop and tries to escape the cafeteria. She is then seen helping her friends out by pretending to be firefighters. She is last seen as she grows into a giant.

"Total Recall"

She is seen at the school playground playing on the monkey bars along with Fanboy, Chum Chum, Lupe, Michael, Chris Chuggy and Cheech.

"Refill Madness"

She can be seen in Boog’s car, along with her classmates, the kindergarteners, some adults and some animals.

"The Frosty Bus"

She and the rest of her friends all get excited about the Frosty Bus. She later is seen with Lupe, Chris Chuggy, Michael and Duke trying to get more Frosty Freezy Freezes at the end.

"Cold War"

She along with Yo, Chris Chuggy and Duke tried to play outside at the schools recess court yard but got upset when it started to rain.

"Fanboy in the Plastic Bubble"

She can be seen at Boog’s yard sale.

"Sigmund the Sorcerer"

She is first seen chatting with Duke and Cher. She also gets excited about seeing Sigmund. She is last seen being kicked out of line.

"Fanboy A'Hoy!"

She goes on a pirate adventure with her friends to find the treasure chest. She and the rest of her friends got angry at Fanboy and Chum Chum for searching for a treasure chest with gross things inside.

"Fan vs. Wild"

She watches Oz help Fanboy, Chum Chum and Kyle off the Frosty Mart roof.

"Separation Anxiety"

She first appears at the school playground. She also appears in the classroom trying to read. She is then seen watching Fanboy make a letter, Fanboy and Kyle’s conversation and Fanboy and Chum Chum’s attempts to get back together. She along with the rest of her classmates (except Fanboy, Chum Chum and Kyle) all get sucked in by the wormhole.

"Strings Attached"

She can be seen in two of Fanboy’s flashbacks. She is first seen at Lupe’s birthday party along with Fanboy, Yo and Cher. She is later seen solving a math equation.

"The Book Report of the Dead"

She first appears helping Mr. Mufflin get his world globe out of Fanboy’s mouth. She is then seen sitting next to Chum Chum in the classroom. She is last seen running out of the room in fear.

"Stan Arctica"

She can be seen in Man-Arctica’s flashback on the school bus being saved by him.

"Fan-bidextrous"

She is first seen in the classroom doing a pop quiz. She also found Fanboy funny. She is then seen in the cafeteria listening to Fanboy's fart music and the Hank's announcement. She is last seen walking to school.

She and rest of her friends try to take advantage of Mr. Mufflin’s poor eyesight and play with toys in class.

She is first seen in the classroom getting excited about Slime Day. She is then seen on the courtyard and slide getting slimed. She is last seen in the classroom watching Hank help the duo get slimed and gets upset that the charades game didn’t work.

  • In "I, Fanbot" after failing the test and losing the bounce house prize, she and the rest of the class try to attack Fanboy then later Kyle.

• Her first solo speaking role was in "Fanboy Stinks", when she asked Chum Chum not to make the Pecan Log due to what happened last year.
• Wahlgren provides her voice for some episodes, but in a few others, her voice was provided by Futterman, the same voice actor for Chum Chum.
  • She isn't the only character to have two voice actors. Chris Chuggy has been voiced by both Eric Robles and Jeff Bennett while Miss Olive has been voiced by Candi Milo and Nika Futterman.
• She is the leader of the Bake Sale, and she seems annoyed when Chum Chum brings his Peacan log every year.

• She seems to resemble Yo with similar body shape, height and thin limbs. The only differences is that Nancy has a longer neck, her eyes are placed a bit higher from her ears, her nose and mouth are placed lower, her lips appearing thicker, not having a blocky muzzle area, and her legs being shorter. Yo has a small neck, a flattened face, upward-slanting eyelids with skin folds, her eyes are placed near her ears, her nose and mouth are placed closely to her eyes, having a pronounced, protruding, blocky muzzle area and her legs being longer.
• If you look closely, in most scenes she is slouching making her look shorter than she really is. In certain frames where she isn’t slouching, she’s at least Fanboy or Francine's height.
